What is Financial Planning Week?

Financial Planning Week is chance for people nationwide to get free financial planning sessions and advice to provide a helping hand in achieving financial well-being and life goal planning. These free, one-hour, one-to-one, confidential sessions worth up to £500, are being offered by CISI CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professionals between 7-11 October and Montage are taking part in this year’s event.

The annual campaign, organised by the-not-for profit professional body the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), is a national initiative to help improve the financial fitness of the UK public, while highlighting the fact that CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioners represent the pinnacle of professionalism for their knowledge, skills and integrity. You can also explore the Financial Planning Week website by clicking here for handy tips and tools on how you can plan well to live well.

Who is it for?

Anyone. Simple as that. Whether you are young or old, wealthy or not everyone can benefit from having a plan, a direction of travel that they want to be headed in and a roadmap as to how they get there. The default setting of most people is to just plod along until they are forced into action by circumstances. We want more people to see how much easier and better their life could be if they just gave things a little more thought and forward planning. Financial Planning Week is our chance to help people by offering what is essentially a financial health check. If you are about to make a big financial decision or just want to get your finances is shape rather than putting it off, this is the opportunity to do so.

There are no hidden costs, there is no hidden agenda. Financial Planning Week is a chance to sit down with a Certified Financial Planner professional and talk through the issues that are important to you.
