We are honoured to support Havens Hospices.

When a family has been told that there’s no cure for their loved one’s illness and all that can be done is to make life comfortable, Havens Hospices can help.

Fair Havens Hospice, Little Havens Hospice and The J’s focus on the individual needs of the adults, young adults and children they care for, ‘Making every day count’ for those with life-limiting illnesses, and their families.

They’re the only place in the area wholly dedicated to looking after those with an illness which could shorten their life.

Their hospices help by controlling pain and medication, offering short respite breaks and caring for each child and patient at the end of their lives.

We are proud to say that on the crisp October morning of October 20th Chris took part in the Chelmsford Marathon as part of our continued support for Havens Hospices.

It was a hard slog, 26 miles is a long way in anyone’s book, but he made it in once piece taking 5:04 hours to get round the course.

If you haven’t gotten around to it yet and did still want to donate you can do so by clicking on the Chelmsford Marathon logo on the right to donate.

We are delighted to report that Peter, Scott, Dave, Chris, Dougie and Jo from Montage, as well as Tom (Peter’s son), Meg (Scott’s wife) and Amy (Dave’s fiancée) all completed this year’s Rough Runner obstacle course for Haven’s Hospice.

The course was 5km long and had 10 gruelling obstacles along the run.

We are really proud of the whole team for giving it their all and for the amazing sum that we have raised so far towards this year’s fantastic cause.

We are aiming to raise £5,000 for Havens Hospices. To make a donation, please click on the collage of us at the Rough Runner event. All donations are greatly appreciated and are going to a fantastic cause!

We are delighted to be sponsoring Connie Threadgold on her upcoming venture.

Connie will be travelling to Costa Rica in Summer 2021 with Camps International – a charitable organisation who help tackle some of the world’s largest issues, impoverished communities, wildlife extinction and environmental issues, for example deforestation and pollution.

On Connie’s 4 week journey, she will be tasked with projects such as building new homes, installing new water supplies, cleaning polluted beaches and even planting new trees.
